The Story of GRAR Designs

GRAR Designs is a family owned small business founded in 2019 and located in Alexandria, Virginia. The business was named after a tree "Grar" in Amharic. It represents our beautiful childhood memories  being raised in a home where there was a giant, beautiful Grar tree in front of our childhood house in the southeastern suburb of Addis Abeba. For over 10 years, we watched beautiful exotic birds come and go as well as some of  the most breath-taking sunrises behind the tree.
